Usually not. Modern chargers support load management which keeps you within your mains capacity. We check before quoting.
Yes. Ocular, Zappi and Fronius Wattpilot can be set to charge from excess solar only — free fuel from your roof.
For overnight home charging, 7kW is plenty (~45km/hr added). 22kW only matters with three-phase and fast top-up needs.
Most home installs are 3–5 hours. Three-phase or long runs can stretch to a full day.
