On the farm

A farm electrician who plans for distance and weather.

01

Long runs, sized right.

Pumps and pressure systems a long way from the board need cable sized for voltage drop, or the motors run hot and fail early. We do that calculation before the cable goes in.

02

Three-phase where it counts.

Pump circuits, motor circuits and larger solar inverters often need three-phase power. We wire them to standard and hand over test sheets with the job.

03

Storms and outages.

When a storm takes out power to the house or the dairy, our emergency line is answered 24/7. Where the damage calls for it, we provide insurance reports with photos.

How it works

From quote to switched on.

01

Walk the property.

We look at the board, the sheds, the pumps and the distances between them.

02

03

Booked-in dates, clear communication and a tidy site, even out in the paddock.

04

FAQ

Farm and rural questions.

Which areas do you cover for farm work?

Circular Head and the wider North West, including Smithton, Stanley and Wynyard, and the Leven Valley and Penguin hinterland behind Ulverstone.

Can you wire a new shed?

Yes. Lights, power, a farm switchboard if the shed needs one, and the supply from the house or the main board, all signed off with a certificate of compliance.

Do you install off-grid solar for farms?

Yes. We design grid-tied, battery-ready and full off-grid systems, including larger arrays and three-phase inverters for sheds, dairies and pump houses. See solar and battery.

Can you set up security cameras on a farm?

Yes. We plan camera coverage on site, use wired cameras and add LTE backup for remote spots. See CCTV & security.

Do you do safety inspections on farm buildings?

Yes. Rural properties with several sheds are inspected and quoted per job. See safety inspections.

“We're not the biggest sparkies in Tassie. We just want to be the ones you trust enough to ring twice.”
