Electripol is a Smithton-based, family-run electrical team serving all of North West Tasmania — Circular Head, Burnie, Devonport, Ulverstone, Wynyard and the West Coast.
Every job is signed off by a licensed electrician with a certificate of compliance. No sub-contracting the tricky bits, no cheap gear, no surprise invoices — just work we'd be happy to find inside our own walls.

We sit down with your plans, ask the questions your builder didn't, and mark up power, data and lighting where you'll actually use them.
Cables in walls and ceilings before plaster. Conduits underslab. Tidy work you'd be happy to leave exposed.
Switches, GPOs, lights, smoke alarms and switchboard commissioned after paint and cabinetry — every circuit tested.
Certificate of Electrical Compliance, meter application, and a walkthrough so you know what every switch does.

We rang ahead before we left the depot. If we're going to be late, you hear from us first — not last.
Written, itemised, no 'while we're here' surprises. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice.
CES / test sheets / certificate of compliance every job, no exceptions. Insurer- and agent-ready.
Drop sheets down, dust managed, off-cuts removed. You won't be vacuuming after we leave.
“Jeremy and his team went above and beyond — switched our heating to a cheaper tariff, timed our hot water, and recommended a heat pump that cut our heating costs by 30%. Family-first, energy-smart, and genuinely local.”
“Jeremy and the team did a fantastic job installing down lights, all new power points and light switches, plus a few extras. His recommendation for down lights was spot on — take his advice.”
“Installed our dimmer lights, smoke alarms and updated our switchboard. Great crew — professional, polite and fair on price.”
“When I moved to Smithton I contacted Jeremy for electrical works. By the time he left I trusted him completely. His business has grown so much in the short time I have lived here.”
“Happy to recommend Jeremy — great service, reliable and honest.”
“Never felt more comfortable and confident in a team. Great attitude and work ethic — would recommend to everyone.”
As early as possible — ideally before the slab is poured. Early involvement means underslab conduits, data runs, EV-ready wiring and solar cabling are planned in, not retrofitted later at 3x the cost.
Yes — we coordinate with your builder, drafter and other trades. We're happy to attend site meetings, review plans, and issue Certificates of Electrical Compliance direct to the builder or owner-builder.
Absolutely. We take the electrical stress off owner-builders — plan review, staged rough-in, final fit-off and all the paperwork so your inspection passes first time.
Every new home we wire is battery-ready and EV-ready by default — spare conduits to the garage, a switchboard sized for what's coming, and data drops where you'll actually use them.
We do proper lighting design (not just downlights every 1.5m), structured Cat6 data, TV points, smart switching options and outdoor power planned around your landscape — not as an afterthought.
Rough-in is typically 2–4 days depending on home size. Final fit-off happens after painting and cabinetry, usually 1–2 days. We schedule around your builder's program.
“We're not the biggest sparkies in Tassie. We just want to be the ones you trust enough to ring twice.”
